Expressions, Body language, Voice Modulation, Creative writing, Debating, Public Speaking, Team Work, Directing, Back Stage Management and many more attributes are explored and practised through these effective theatre sessions progressively across the various levels of certification.

The curriculum is well structured to help develop Communication & Life Skills apart from guiding those with a passion to take up higher education in Theatre Arts in avenues of Skill Enhancement, Internships, Portfolio Creation and University Guidance at the Youth Theatre Level
Alchemy’s courses will engage the students with lots of interaction, brainstorming and movement based activities. Every module is thoughtfully designed to keep the student interested, involved and on their toes. Students exchange ideas, offer input and seek out viewpoints from a community of learners gathered from around the globe. They get to perform in pairs and small groups. In the process, they learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.
Each learning module will have an individual learner assessment. The assessment criteria will be shared in advance with the learners. Based on their performance & classroom participation the learners will be assessed by the teacher. Learners will be oriented to receive feedback from teachers as well as peers with a positive frame of mind. Feedback will be shared with the learners in a progressive manner.
Annually twice, in the months of June & November, the teacher will interact with the parents individually to share the teacher’s observation and progress of the respective learner.
Every learner will be expected to put up a performance based on the certification level they are in as part of their final year end presentations (Solo & Group Drama). The performance criteria and the category for performance will be specified with the respective certificate grade details.
The Alchemy teachers are qualified and well trained before they get into the classrooms. They also undergo ongoing intensive & progressive training on a weekly basis to keep themselves updated. Quality of teaching & learning across all the centres & platforms of Alchemy is given very high priority.
Every level which spans across 11 months with the exception of Grade 1 & Youth Theatre Level O being 10 months. The year is divided into two terms. Feedback on the progress of each student is shared with the parents respectively at the end of every term.
